As Global Vice President of Employee Experience, Linda is responsible for spearheading employee growth and performance, talent acquisition, and establishing operational objectives for the development and continuous improvement of the employee experience.
Linda joined Copperleaf in 2020, bringing the company a wealth of knowledge in strategic human resources (HR), change management, organizational development, and leadership development. She most recently served as Executive Vice President, Commercial Services, for the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), and previously held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at PHSA. Throughout her seven years there, she had executive oversight of various portfolios including decision analytics, BC Emergency Health Services, and other corporate services.
Linda has over 30 years of experience in executive HR positions with biotech company, QLT, and international software firm, MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of British Columbia and enjoys cooking, gardening, and cycling.

Brent Carey, ABC, is a senior communications leader with nearly 30 years of experience at leading organizations, across a wide range of communications disciplines, including employee communication and engagement, issues and reputation management, media relations and marketing communication. He is currently Vice President, Communications, at Mattamy Asset Management (the parent company of Mattamy Homes), based in Toronto, and has held communication leadership roles with KPMG International, Deloitte Canada, CIBC, TD Bank, and Imperial Oil. Brent is the Chair of the Program Advisory Committee for the Public Relations Graduate program at Mohawk College. He is the Past Chair of IABC’s Canada East Region and was previously the Chair of the IABC World Conference Program Advisory Committee, as well as the president of IABC/Toronto. Brent graduated from York University with a double honours degree in Communications and English.
