Traci Simmons is the Acting Chief Executive Officer for Opportunities NB (ONB). Traci was formerly ONB’s Chief Operating Officer and Assistant Deputy Minister and has been with the organization since 2015.
With significant experience in strategic and business planning across a variety of industries and more than a decade of economic development experience, Traci has a solid understanding of how the public and private sectors intersect. She is a strategy-focused senior leader with a passion for driving economic growth in New Brunswick and building the strong team required to make it a reality. Under her leadership, ONB has been recognized annually for its award-winning culture.
Traci has an MBA from the University of New Brunswick and is currently serving as board chair for the Fredericton Community Foundation.
Opportunities NB (ONB) is the province of New Brunswick’s lead economic development agency mandated with fostering economic and business growth. ONB works with businesses of all sizes in every region of New Brunswick — helping them to invest, grow, scale, and tap new markets for their products and services.
