Jill Wagman is Managing Principal of Eckler Ltd., Canada’s largest, independently owned actuarial consulting firm.
The first woman to lead the firm, she Chairs both the Board of Directors and the Risk Management Committee. She also has direct responsibility for preserving the firm’s culture – while helping to drive innovation and exciting market strategies.
Jill joined Eckler in 1993 and was the retirement practice leader from 2003 to 2006. She was appointed Managing Principal in 2012. In addition to firm leadership, Jill also has principal responsibility consulting to several of Eckler’s major clients. Most recently, she has spearheaded the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, and a major branding initiative that preserves the 93-year history of the firm while providing a fresh new look that perfectly articulates who we are ─ _innovative, collaborative, reliable, professional, and friendly.
A graduate of the University of Waterloo, Jill is a qualified actuary (FCIA, FSA) with over 30 years of consulting experience. She also has her ICD.D designation and is a member of the Financial Services Tribunal of Ontario.
Throughout her career, Jill has advised corporations, boards of directors, boards of trustees and government agencies on pension and employee benefits matters including all aspects of valuation, administration, risk management, governance, design, funding and accounting for pension, post-retirement and supplemental pension programs. Renown in the industry for her expertise, Jill is often called as an expert witness on pension matters.

Renee McKenzie was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer for OpenText in 2021. She leads the IT organization in delivering engaging applications, modern infrastructure and personalized experiences to employees and customers around the world, while continuing to meet OpenText’s unwavering commitment to global privacy and security standards.
Renee joined OpenText in 2004 and has held increasingly senior positions in IT since that time. Most recently, she was Vice President, Enterprise Business Systems, where she was responsible for leading the applications transformation to support digital business models, and integrating applications and data from acquired companies to drive standard global processes and realized synergies.
During her tenure at OpenText, Renee has delivered more than 35 IT acquisition integration programs, and has led the delivery of digital transformation programs for Finance (ERP implementation) and Human Resources (HRMS implementation).
Renee is also a prominent member of the OpenText Women in Technology affinity group, and has helped grow membership to over 1,000 in only a few short years. WIT is a group of people interested in furthering the careers of Women in Technology across OpenText, and strives to help members share ideas, support career growth, and expand personal networks.
Renee holds Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology & Psychology from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
