Recently joining the executive team at ZayZoon (headquartered in Calgary but operating as a fully remote workplace), Agata is responsible for driving cultural evolution to achieve overall business results and establish the company as a category leader in Earned Wage Access.
With nearly 20 years of experience in HR across a variety of industries, Agata thrives in high-energy environments, embraces challenges, and focuses on delivering organizational impact. Her expertise lies in leadership, strategy development and execution, and scaling people practices to drive exponential organizational performance. She has been fortunate to work with some incredible brands, each a "rocket ship" in its own right, focused on growth and staying ahead of the competition.
Notably, her early HR career included roles with the Olympics, Lululemon, and Hootsuite. Since then, she has worked at Spence Diamonds, a 40-year-old Canadian business, and Bananatag, a Kelowna-founded company that was acquired in 2021. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer at Paystone, where she blended her passion for HR with operational leadership.
Agata is often described as pragmatic, clear and concise, results-oriented, yet compassionate and caring.
