The Opportunity
The Vice President, Enterprise Platforms Strategy, leads the strategic direction, architecture, and long-term evolution of ULI’s enterprise platform ecosystem, ensuring platforms and integrations remain aligned with organizational strategy and scalability goals across global operations.
A key partner across Membership, Marketing, Finance, Events, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Applications & Operations, this role translates organizational priorities into platform strategy and ensures business-critical systems evolve cohesively.
The VP serves as executive steward of ULI’s CRM/AMS ecosystem, enterprise integrations, and related digital platforms, with accountability for platform strategy, architectural direction, interoperability, and long-term sustainability. This role focuses on strategy, governance, and architecture — not day-to-day infrastructure operations, application administration, or technical support.
Working closely with CRM Product Management, Enterprise Applications & Operations, Data & Analytics, and Project Management, the VP aligns long-term platform investments, modernization efforts, and operational capabilities across the technology ecosystem.
The VP acts as a strategic advisor, balancing business priorities, member experience, platform scalability, and long-term sustainability.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, technology management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise platforms, CRM ecosystems, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success aligning enterprise systems with organizational strategy, operational priorities, and long-term business objectives.
- Strong understanding of CRM/AMS ecosystems (NetFORUM preferred), enterprise integrations, APIs, interoperability, and SaaS platform architecture.
- Experience overseeing complex platform ecosystems including CRM, digital platforms, analytics, and integrations.
- Demonstrated success facilitating cross-functional governance and decision-making related to enterprise systems and technology investments.
- Strong understanding of organizational operations, business process design, and platform modernization strategies.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and technology teams in collaborative environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a global association, nonprofit, professional society, or membership-driven organization.
- Familiarity with enterprise product management, portfolio management, or PMO governance models.
- Experience with enterprise data governance, analytics enablement, or cross-platform reporting.
- Professional certifications in enterprise architecture, product management, business analysis, or change management.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, digital engagement, member lifecycle systems, or enterprise integration environments.
Role Clarification
This role owns enterprise platform strategy, architecture, governance alignment, and ecosystem evolution. Day-to-day infrastructure operations, application administration, technical support, and operational service management remain under Enterprise Applications & Operations.
